Built from the ground up,
we love to build

Stellar Construction & Remodeling LLC started in 2008 as a small deck and fence operation out of the Portland area. The founder built it to fund something he loved just as much as building: flying helicopters. For six years, he logged hours in the cockpit while keeping the crew working and the jobs moving on the ground.

Flying sharpened a certain kind of focus. You learn to plan carefully, stay calm under pressure, and never cut corners when the stakes are real. Those habits carried straight back to the jobsite. While the helicopter chapter eventually closed, the construction company never stopped growing.

We used Stellar for a near full home remodel. Our home is absolutely beautiful. Stellar took our 1970s home and brought it to modern times while keeping the features we loved about our home as we are the original owners. Micah and his team were open to feedback and made us feel like we were apart of their team in every decision. We did have an issue a while after the build but Micah came out himself promptly to fix it. We will continue to refer stellar and use them for any need in the future!

Micah’s team were great to work with throughout the project, and their craftsmanship shined in small details, like matching the interior trim of newly installed windows, against the original 1920s trim of our home. Unfortunately, I reduced my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. After 6 months some of the IPE on the railings is starting to come loose. The reason that I am reducing my rating is because I have reached out to Micah over several months and I am not hearing back. I know that Micah is very busy with many projects, but it gives me great pause to recommend Stellar Contruction to others if they don't stand behind their product and their warranty. Initial Review: Stellar Construction replaced my front and back decks and I couldn't be happier. Josh suggested adding lighting and IPA to the top railing and that really takes them over the top. My neighbors keep commenting on how nice the decks look. Brian, Mike, Ray and Josh were a pleasure to work with. They are all true craftsman and take pride in their work. If you are looking to have a deck built..then I suggest you call Micah at Stellar Construction. Thanks for a gorgeous deck!
